Anger

Anger is a natural response to change. Often change means losing something, and sometimes it's not in our control. But if we don't deal with it, anger can build and build and be expressed in very negative ways that can hurt some of the relationships dearest to us. So let's have a look at how we can deal with anger little by little.
Use the activity below to visualise your anger.
When you start you will see the bucket filling, with no outlet the bucket eventually overflows with no control over where or how the anger is released.
Click the blue segments of the base of the bucket.
What could you add to your daily routine to allow some space for the stress and anger to be released? What hobbies do you have? What could you make time for? Who could you spend time with that you know relaxes you? The more outlets there are, the harder it is for the anger to build up.
Could you set aside a time to be still and sit in silence for a couple of minutes? Write down some ideas in the space below, or even better, write down some time in your calendar/diary to do some of these things.
